The Service Monitor informs staff of the
effects of changes and interruptions to
QUT′s information services. It uses a
variety of communication channels (SMS,
bulk voicemail, a web page, a voice
message on the Staff IT Helpdesk phone
queue and a news group titled qut.itsm)
to ensure information is quickly delivered
to those who need to know.
To subscribe to the Service Monitor
email list:
- Go to QUT Virtual

- Click Manage staff subscription
interest groups.
- Click Subscribe to a Staff
Subscription Group.
- Select QUT Service Monitor Email List
(service–monitor) from
the drop down menu.
The ITS web site also keeps an archive of Service Disruption reports
