The Service Monitor informs staff of the effects of changes and interruptions to QUT′s information services. It uses a variety of communication channels (SMS, bulk voicemail, a web page, a voice message on the Staff IT Helpdesk phone queue and a news group titled qut.itsm) to ensure information is quickly delivered to those who need to know.

To subscribe to the Service Monitor email list:

  1. Go to QUT Virtual This link will open a new window to another section of the QUT web site
  2. Click Manage staff subscription interest groups.
  3. Click Subscribe to a Staff Subscription Group.
  4. Select QUT Service Monitor Email List
    (service–monitor)
    from the drop down menu.

The ITS web site also keeps an archive of Service Disruption reports This link will open a new window to another section of the QUT web site
