The information you will need for assignments and study is available via the Library web site. This web site is a portal to:
- QUT Library catalogue
- Search for books, Internet resources, journals and audiovisual material
- Look up your borrower information
- Renew your loans
- Place a 'hold' on an item that is on loan or held at another campus
- Databases – find e–journals/magazines/newspaper articles from 500 databases and 36,000 e-journals
- Course Material Database (CMD) – Items such as digitised copyright material, recommended readings, journal articles, book chapters, conference papers, legislation, cases, unreported judgements, lecture notes and past exam papers. The CMD is also accessible via QUT Virtual and the QUT Blackboard web site
- eReference – a collection of online electronic dictionaries, encyclopaedias, handbooks and directories
- Subject pathfinders – a guide to the best information sources in a subject area
- Other library catalogues – Brisbane, Australian and International library catalogues
- Obtain a photocopy of an article in a journal held at another campus library
- Obtain a loan or photocopy of an article held at Griffith University Library
- Register to borrow in person from other university libraries
All library reminders (e.g. Overdue notice, renewal notice etc.) are sent to your QUT Email address.

- Branches and hours information gives details of opening hours, contact phone numbers and liaison librarians
- Ask a Librarian is an email reference service for any inquiries you have regarding services, resources or search techniques.
- Information sheets and resources guides are available in the library and on the library web site.
